Now retired, Jennifer worked for many years in community pharmacy and as a senior clinical pharmacist in hospital prior to commencing as an academic in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University. Her main area of interest is in curriculum and academic capacity building. Jennifer has published >75 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has obtained >AUD$2 million in research grants.

In 2007, she was awarded the Cyril Tonkin Travelling Fellowship by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia to explore international pharmacy curricula and travelled to 27 pharmacy schools in Canada, USA and the UK.

Former Director of the BPharm at Monash University, Jennifer introduced major restructure and development, and many teaching innovations into the program. She fuelled the initial drive to teach dispensing online – the genesis of MyDispense – and was instrumental in its initial scoping work.

This award celebrates her visionary leadership and enduring commitment to fostering international partnerships in pharmacy education. Each year, it will be presented to individuals or institutions who demonstrate outstanding collaborative efforts using MyDispense to enhance student learning, promote cross-border innovation, and strengthen global ties in pharmaceutical education.
