Infectious Disease Cases

Hello!

I am in search of more infectious disease related cases for our case-based learning ID module. We currently have a hospital acquired pneumonia (empiric treatment recommendations) and uncomplicated pyelonephritis (oral stepdown recommendations) cases within MyDispense and will hopefully have an HIV (most likely PrEP), C. diff, bacteremia, and sepsis cases by the end of the semester. We are more than happy to case-swap with anyone who has similar types of cases. This is especially true if you already have an HIV, C. diff, bacteremia, or sepsis case built into MyDispense.

We have a Case Development Template that somewhat walks through the medication therapy problems that students should identify and manage/prevent and “case variations” that could lead to alternative recommendations that we can share as well.
